Report of 4th Annual Eastern States PIH/FIH Gathering

Hendersonville, North Carolina
June 2 to 5, 2009
 
            On Tuesday, June 2nd the 4th Annual Gathering of Partners in Harvest and Friends in Harvest churches and ministries gathered for three days of fellowship, relaxation and meetings at the beautiful Echo Mountain Inn in Hendersonville, North Carolina. During the 3 evening meetings there were approximately 37 people representing 16 churches and/or ministries. It was the best attended of these annual Gatherings.
                        Our new PIH International Coordinator Dan Slade gave an overview of the work of PIH and the vision of our family of churches. Dan also gave us some refreshing concepts of current paradigm shifts that are happening in the church and the marketplace. New relationships and friendships flourished as we had time to pray and prophesy over one another.
            PIH/FIH’s worldview focus was particularly highlighted because of the international connections of those in attendance. We had a special time of ministry with some missionaries and pastors from India, Pakistan and Turkey. There was a powerful time of reconciliation between the representatives of India and Pakistan.
            Chester and Betsy Kylstra, proprietors of Echo Mountain Inn and developers of Restoring the Foundation Ministry, a PIH ministry, arranged for our group to have a special room and meal rate. The three evening meetings culminated days of golf, shopping and relaxing in the magnificent North Carolina mountains.
