Hi Everyone,
Here’s an update…

Fred called me (Lisa) today, first thing this morning, because he’d been thinking and he
remembered that his Blog for the website was due about now… I have been trying to get Fred
to blog for months and finally… He remembered he needed to blog, so I wrote down all he dictated
to me and in this update you will also get to read Fred’s Blog.

(Information from Sharon this Morning Jan. 6)

Fred is in the West Park Health Care Centre in Toronto, it’s a rehabilitation centre.
Fred at the moment has 3 roommates, a man that snores loudly next to him, a Presbyterian
Pastor across from him and another patient. He and the Presbyterian Pastor are now friends,
He comes from a family of Pentecostal Pastors and has a soft heart, He has people that come
in to pray for him and now Fred is on their prayer list too.

Fred meets with the Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist every day and is expected
to be at the centre for about 4 weeks. Sharon told me this morning that He calls her first
thing in the mornings, bright and early, as she puts it, his mind is active, his body’s the
slower one, he’s getting his freedom there and lots of good attention.

Sharon was sharing with me some of the things the Dr’s have told them, over the last few days
about his condition. Fred has Atrial fibrillation

It’s a condition in his heart, he has an abnormal heart rhythm, and it can cause blood to
pool in his heart where blood clots form and then can travel into his brain, that’s what
happened and it caused a stroke. So what we need is for God to come in and do an ablation in
Fred’s heart to cure his abnormal heart rhythm, and to stop the pooling of blood. The Dr’s told
them that Fred has a 45% chance of having another stoke with this Atrial Fibrillation, but in
the name of Jesus we proclaim life, healing and health over Fred’s heart and mind and body.

So Area’s of Prayer:
* Healing for Fred’s Heart
* Healing of the Blood Clot on the right side of his brain
* His body to be healed from the effects of the Stoke 100%
* Strength and Rest for Sharon
*Health and Wholeness over the entire family (all the running around they’ve been doing can
cause fatigue and colds, etc)

Fred’s Blog:
Well, I’m still here… and I am very, very, very grateful for all the prayer that has
been mobilized on my behalf. It’s not been an easy time but I feel the Lord so strongly,
I feel that I have a hope and a future. I also feel like God’s given me 1 if not 2 book ideas,
and that gives me hope that he still has a plan for me to minister to the church body and people
individually within this ministry.
