Hi Everyone,
Here’s an update…

Fred called me (Lisa) today, first thing this morning, because he’d been thinking and he
remembered that his Blog for the website was due about now… I have been trying to get Fred
to blog for months and finally… He remembered he needed to blog, so I wrote down all he dictated
to me and in this update you will also get to read Fred’s Blog.

(Information from Sharon this Morning Jan. 6)

Update on Fred:
 
I (Dan) just talked to Sharon, There is steady improvement with Fred.  He walked again today and the
therapist was very encouraged at his progress. He has been meeting with the occupational therapist
and also a physical therapist to help with the recovery process.

He is going to the rehabilitation house on Monday.  It is closer to the Wright's
home so that will be easier for Sharon.   Nathan is leaving Wednesday.
 

Hi everyone,
Here is the latest update on Fred Wright  as of 4pm Toronto time on Tuesday Dec. 29th:

Fred is aware that he's had a stroke and that he has a blood clot in his brain. 
He is generally very lucid and aware of what's going on but there are times when
he is disoriented about where he is.  Sharon said that he woke up this morning with
ideas for their second book together. 

Fred's son Nathan has flown in from Japan and Fred’s brother from California. 

  As I sit here and write this Blog, at least one more leaf has fallen off the trees and hit the ground as this part of the world gears up for Winter.

Hello out there, How has you're summer been? Can you believe it's already the end of August, and in a few short days we will be in September. In Toronto, that means colder weather, warmer sweaters, and changing of leaves into vibrant colours, Fall is about to begin. 
With the Fall quickly approaching, that means that the PIH International Conference is on it's way too!!
