Two weeks ago at the Unveiling Conference,where Mike Bickle and Heidi Baker ministered, I was in the hospitality lounge when Heidi came running across the room and gave me a hug before backing up in order to really look at me. "You are looking great, Fred!" She said that it was particularly good to see me doing so well because she has had her little "munchkins",(her descriptive designation, not mine)in Mozambique praying for me since she heard about the stroke last December.

Good news! Good news! I want to thank those of you who have been following my blog and have been praying for me since my stroke. Since the end of February, Sharon and I have spent thirty days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in a beach house of some precious friends. There we rested at the strong suggestion of my family doctor and my specialist. Apparently rest, exercise, and proper diet plus some basic medication are the main medical means by which a person heals from a stroke. Now you and I also know that a lot of hands on, as well as intercessory prayer helps tremendously as well.

Fred and Sharon have had the wonderful opportunity to spend the last 3 weeks in Myrtle Beach resting and relaxing. Here is a note from Fred on what he has been up to.

There are several areas in my body and mind that are functioning well again. I try to jog about 3 miles a day and my coordination has come back well enough so that I am able to bike.

On Sunday, I spoke in a local PIH church and the response was good.

I am also driving a golf cart on the streets here which is quite common in Myrtle Beach. . . . and I lived through it to tell about it.

The floods are coming again, the rivers and canals will rise and leave boats in the gardens.
I'm mixing the two: you will fish, you will plant, you will harvest in the same field in multiple waves. Loaves and fishes, loaves and fishes, let the water rise but you arise also.

Update on Fred:

I (Lisa) have been chatting with Sharon this morning and got an update on Fred.
It's been 1 month today since his stroke and he is recovering very well... Physically he is improving with his coordination and able to get up and down stairs, which is good as he has quite a few in his house. Spiritually he is receiving tremendous downloads from The Father, just hearing God with such incredible clarity and unfiltered by our ever questioning minds.
